Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver materials, supplies, parts, and equipment to and from vendors, suppliers, and other business locations.
- Transport company materials between facilities, vendors, subcontractors, and customers as needed.
- Make daily runs to local stores and suppliers to obtain production and maintenance materials.
- Deliver purchase orders, paperwork, and miscellaneous company items when required.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and securing materials for transport.
- Verify materials and quantities before pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain delivery logs, receipts, and other required documentation.
- Inspect company vehicles daily and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Ensure company vehicles remain clean, organized, and properly maintained.
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Assist with inventory, yard, maintenance, or production-related tasks during downtime.
- Support other departments with miscellaneous errands and operational needs assigned.
- Valid Wisconsin Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate pickup trucks, cargo vans, and trailers.
- Previous delivery, warehouse, construction, manufacturing, or driving experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic knowledge of the local area and ability to efficiently plan routes.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to load and unload materials and supplies.
