Pay Range: $13- 15Hr

Job Summary: The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all outdoor areas, including guest sites, gardens, and public spaces, ensuring a pleasant and welcoming environment for all visitors.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Provide professional and courteous service at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas, storage areas, and guest outdoor spaces.
• Clean and prepare guest sites upon checkout, removing debris and trash.
• Maintain fire rings, ensuring cleanliness before each new guest arrival.
• Remove bagged trash from guest sites and common areas as needed.
• Cut grass and trim weeds in guest and common areas.
• Water and maintain gardens and tropical plants as needed.
• Clean and maintain swimming pools, ensuring proper disinfectant and water balance levels (if applicable).
• Maintain beach areas, removing debris and grooming sand for guest comfort (if applicable).
• Refill and empty doggie waste disposal stations as required.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:

• Ability to perform outdoor maintenance and landscaping tasks in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Basic knowledge of groundskeeping tools and equipment (e.g., lawnmowers, trimmers, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscaping preferred but not required.
  
  

Work Environment:

• Primarily outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Frequent walking, standing, and lifting of objects up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to noise from equipment and occasional exposure to chemicals for cleaning and landscaping.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
