Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Pool Construction Equipment Operator and Team Lead with experience operating heavy equipment and supporting pool installation projects. This role involves site preparation, layout, excavation, trenching, and base preparation.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently:
- Excavator
- Skid steer
- Tele-handler
- Set rigging for hoisting operations
Layout & Site Preparation
- Read and interpret construction plans
- Organize and maintain a clean, efficient job site
- Layout and establish offsets for excavation
- Use laser levels to verify and establish grades
Concrete & Base Work
- Install forming for pool bases
- Accurately screed and install gravel bases
- Pour and finish small concrete pads
Trenching
- Dig and backfill trenches as required for pool systems and utilities
Qualifications
- 5 years of proven experience operating construction equipment (excavator, skid steer, tele-handler)
- Ability to read and understand construction plans
- Experience with grading, layout, and laser levels
- Knowledge of pool construction or similar site work preferred
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
