What You Will Be Doing:
As an Assistant Store Manager you will help and assist the store manager running the store as whole per company standards and requirements. Assistant store managers must be familiar with all the positions below them and lead the store team by example.
Assistant Store Managers will help their Store Manager by;
Providing the best Stoneage Guest Experience
Coaching and motivating the team members
Assigning goals and objectives to team members
Monitoring the store and team performance
Monitoring sales and other business data
Maximizing the store profitability
Making and managing the schedule
Ensuring proper merchandising of the store
Processing inventory and creating displays
Ordering inventory & supplies for the store
Following and implementing company policies
Working as all store position roles and Lead by Example
Serving as Manager on Duty when needed
Helping with interviews and onboarding of new employees
What We Are Looking For:
Experience in leadership
Great Customer service skills
Great Sales Skills - and Sales Driven
Great cash handling skills and basic math skills.
Basic to Intermediate tech skills, troubleshooting common sense
Familiarity with POS and back office programs
High levels of ethics, values, integrity and trust
Flexible availability
Other Requirements
Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
Ability to move throughout the store
Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes and large geodes, rocks.
Ability to perform opening and closing duties alone at a public retail store.
Pay Structure
Assistant Store Manager hourly wage differs per geographic location;
Georgia - $15/hr additional pays
Florida - $15/hr additional pays
N. Carolina - $14/hr additional pays
S. Carolina - $14/hr additional pays
Additional Pays*
-Individually awarded commission over certain transaction amounts.
-Store sales performance bonuses.
-Year end bonuses per seniority.
-Periodic seniority raises.
*Additional pays may differ depending on the store location and type of the employment. Commission and bonus amounts are subject to change and not part of the contracted wage.
