Job Description:
As a Template Specialist at Stone World, you will be responsible for creating precise and accurate templates for stone surfaces, including kitchen countertops, vanities, and other custom projects. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You'll work closely with our design and fabrication teams to ensure that every project is measured accurately for the perfect fit.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and create accurate templates for stone countertops, vanities, and other custom surfaces on-site at client locations.
- Work with clients, designers, and project managers to ensure that all measurements meet client specifications and are aligned with design plans.
- Use specialized equipment and tools to create templates that reflect exact dimensions, including intricate cuts and details.
- Ensure that templates are transferred to the fabrication team accurately to avoid errors in cutting and installation.
- Follow safety protocols while working on job sites to ensure a safe environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in template creation for stone countertops, cabinetry, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of stone materials, including granite, quartz, marble, and quartzite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to client job sites.
