Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of hardscapes
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform hardscape tasks
- Support the setup and installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures
- Use machinery such as excavators and other construction equipment under supervision to move materials and prepare sites
- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks including
- Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris and ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored after use
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members
Experience
- Prior experience or familiarity with landscaping, gardening, or construction work is preferred but not required; we are happy to train motivated individuals
- Basic mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, and small machinery such as excavators is advantageous
- Knowledge of hardscape principles, including Patio installation and retaining wall installation, will help you excel in this role
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic
