Company Management Fellow

Dolly: A True Original Musical on Broadway, is seeking candidates from historically underrepresented groups for an apprenticeship in Company Management and General Management.

No prior commercial theater experience is required for this apprenticeship. Relevant experience from other fields, not-for-profits, or from an educational setting, is welcomed - and a love of the theater is encouraged!

Compensation: $950 per week

Program Start Date: Thursday, October 8, 2026

Program End Date: Monday, April 5, 2027 (with possible extension)

While there may be some flexibility with scheduling, this apprenticeship is full-time at 40 hours per week.

Apprentices will:

-Work closely with the productions professionals to receive hands-on practical work experience and knowledge in the General Management office while working closely with the Company Management team.

-Have responsibilities for long and short-term goals, including day-to-day tasks and projects – an opportunity for significant work experience.

-Have access to the cast, crew, band, and creative team of Dolly: A True Original Musical in the rehearsal studio and theater during rehearsals and tech with hands-on training.

ADDITIONAL JOB CONTEXT - GENERAL MANAGEMENT/ COMPANY MANAGEMENT APPRENTICE:

General managers interface, communicate, and work with all departments on a daily basis in order to support and streamline the processes.

Company managers are responsible for the show’s finances, payroll, and personnel management. The company manager reports directly to the producer/general managers and represent the company in all decisions.

Company managers are at the theatre before every show and work closely with stage management on all aspects of the show.
