What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at Stone Ridge CPAs?
Stone Ridge CPAs is seeking a qualified accountant to join our team of professionals based out of Reno, NV. Our firm is mostly tax focused, and as a staff accountant you will work closely with our clients to prepare a variety of tax returns. Outside of tax season, you will assist with bookkeeping, attestation, and more. Candidates with limited experience will find themselves developing new skills and knowledge quickly. More experienced candidates will continue their professional development, taking on work that is both challenging and versatile.
Responsibilities
· Prepare individual, business, and trust tax returns.
· Perform bookkeeping services for businesses in a variety of industries.
· Perform audit, review, and compilation procedures under partner supervision.
· Assist with financial statement preparation.
· Work with our clients year-round to assist them with their accounting needs.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
· Knowledge of internal revenue code.
· Knowledge of GAAP.
· CPA license is preferred.
· Prior tax preparation experience preferred.
· Prior experience using quickbooks online preferred.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
