Stone Mountain Management is looking for an outgoing and skilled leasing agent to join our team of multi-family apartment community management professionals. This position works closely with onsite property management to assist in new resident lease sales and resident retention programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs sales and leasing activities to promote both new lease sales and lease renewals, including greeting prospective residents, qualifying applicants, conducting community tours, showing apartments, processing applications, conducting credit screenings and criminal background checks, preparing leases and move-in packages, and ensuring smooth resident move-in and lease signing.
- Schedules property tours and follows up on leads for potential renters and new residents by sending e-mails, thank-you notes, and cards or making telephone calls.
- Executes and performs activities supporting the community’s lease renewal program by preparing lease renewal letters and packages for residents, meeting with and contacting renewing residents in advance of move-out dates, and ensuring that lease renewal documents are signed and implemented on time.
- Handles the collection and allocation of rent payments, security deposits, and application fees.
- Responds quickly and courteously to resident and owner concerns and questions and takes proper action to solve problems and/or document and convey resident or other requests to the appropriate individuals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Legal authorization to work in the United States required
- Required High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or at least one year of direct experience as a leasing agent or two or more years related experience and/or training in Sales, Hospitality, or Customer Service, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certified Apartment Leasing Profession CALP preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
- Knowledge of Multi-Family Housing software such as Onesite, Entrata, MRI, Blue Moon, and Yardi preferred
- Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred
Monday - Friday 9 AM to 6 PM, with 1 hour Lunch break.
8 hours per day, excluding breaks
Salary : $14 - $18
