What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Team Member position at Stone Mill BBQ and Steakhouse?
Overview
We’re looking for someone who is experienced in a kitchen environment to join our kitchen team. Our ideal candidate has at least three years of experience in a commercial kitchen. Bilingual Spanish and English. Looking for someone who will be responsible and put the effort in to learn and help in all areas of the kitchen.
Duties Include:
- Be able to plate customer meals in a consistent manner according to Stone Mill BBQ and Steakhouse guidelines.
- Helping your team with prep work, making recipes per Stone Mill specifications, using fryer, breading catfish, dishing up our signature entrees, multi-tasking.
- Complete clean up of kitchen every evening after closing with the help of your team mates
- Must be able to read and understand kitchen tickets
- Able to help and learn in all areas of the kitchen as needed.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift 20-40 pounds.
- Must be responsible, timely and care about the product you are preparing.
- Knife skills very important. Must be willing to learn.
We have some day and some evening shifts available with more to come as your training progresses. We are looking for a person who is willing and wanting to learn all postions to move up in our company.
Stone Mill BBQ and Steakhouse is a local, family-owned and operated restaurant in Broken Arrow. We offer a casual work environment with a non-corporate atmosphere. We are closed on Sundays.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
