Stone Mat Studios is growing, and we're looking for a passionate, experienced group fitness instructor to join our team and lead Friday early-to-mid-morning Mat Pilates classes!

We're looking for someone who loves leading a room, connecting with people, and creating meaningful movement experiences. Whether you're already certified in Mat Pilates or have experience teaching another group fitness format and are interested in expanding into Pilates, we'd love to hear from you!

- Passionate About Movement and Pilates: You have a strong foundation in group fitness instruction, a Pilates certification, and strong understanding of its principles, movement, alignment, and thoughtful class sequencing.
- Confident and Engaging: You lead with clear instruction, effective cueing, positive energy, and the ability to confidently manage larger group classes.
- Faith-Aligned and Authentic: You're comfortable working in a Christian, faith-based environment and helping members connect both physically and spiritually. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead safe, effective, and engaging group Mat Pilates classes in our infrared-heated studio.
- Develop thoughtful class sequences emphasizing strength, control, alignment, and purposeful movement.
- Provide clear instruction, modifications, and progressions for varying fitness levels.
- Create an uplifting environment where members feel comfortable, challenged, and supported.
- Incorporate positive messages and occasional Scripture or biblical reflections that align with Stone Mat's mission.
- Build genuine relationships with members and foster a strong sense of community.
- Support studio cleanliness, equipment care, and an exceptional member experience.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and studio leadership to continue growing and improving.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience teaching group fitness classes required, including confidently leading and engaging larger groups.
- Group fitness certification in Mat Pilates or another recognized fitness discipline.
- Mat Pilates certification highly preferred, but experienced group fitness instructors interested in developing their Pilates expertise are encouraged to apply.
- Strong understanding of body mechanics, proper alignment, and safe movement practices.
- Ability to offer modifications and challenges for different fitness levels.
- Comfortable teaching in an infrared-heated environment.
- Alignment with Stone Mat's mission, values, and faith-based approach to wellness.
- Availability Friday mornings, approximately early to mid-morning.
