Marketing Associate

Stone Mart is in need of a Marketing Associate at our Columbus East location off East Broad Street near I-270.

Stone Mart is one of the largest Natural & Engineered Material Distributors in the Midwest with an excellent growth record.

We are looking for a full-time marketing associate at our Eastside showroom location. This is a perfect position for a recent graduate with a degree related to Marketing.

This position will be responsible for routine and clerical marketing tasks and work alongside various branches and departments. You will aid in design, organization, communication, and various projects. The ideal candidate will be great at multitasking; have experience in an office setting; and have experience in social media and graphic design.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media content creation and coordination with marketing agency

We currently utilize Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn

Maintaining our Website - Including updating and add new materials, Updating general information.

Warehouse and Showroom - Ideas on how to improve customer experience and warehouse flow.

This position will be responsible for all Events - Organizing and hosting internal events and parties. Hosting luncheons with companies we work with such as Kitchen and Bath, ASID, and Fabricators from the food orders to set up/teardown when needed, coordinating with outside sales.

Help create and maintain marketing budgets for the year across all locations.

Aesthetics and Merchandising across all locations.

Help create, set, implement and maintain goals for the new year.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrate good work ethic and time management
• Basic knowledge of design applications (Microsoft Publisher, Adobe Illustrator a plus, Canva)
• Written communication skills in English
• Comfortable within a fast-paced environment and able to prioritize responsibilities
• Proactive self-starter with excellent teamwork and organizational skill

• Schedule is Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5pm. Some Saturdays 9am-1pm may be required.
