WAREHOUSE/YARD ORDER PICKER, FORKLIFT POSITION

*Able to lift up to 70 lbs and stand all day working in an open warehouse/yard

Job Description: Perform stocking, picking, receiving/identifying/counting, housekeeping and safety functions such as:

* Order filling – locate merchandise based on system and accurately complete orders

* Operating motorized material handling equipment as needed

* Receiving and identifying products

* Inspecting material for quality

* Counting inventory

* Following standard procedures and instructions to accomplish assigned tasks

Skills:

* Understand and communicate oral and written instruction

* Work independently and as a team, as assigned

* Collaborate with team members in support of process improvements and cost reductions

* Problem solving skills and attention to detail

* Maintain a positive, professional attitude with team members

Physical requirements: Able to lift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend, and stack items carefully

Experience:

Experience helpful (not required) – we have a great training program:

* Warehousing

* Barcode scanning

* Tile and Stone Industry Knowledge Preferred but not a must

Forklift Experience preferred

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred, not must)

Language :English or Spanish

Clean criminal background check required.

Drug Testing Required- Pre-employment and Random Testing

Job Duties:

• Load and unload trucks
• Move and stack materials
• Keep production lines supplied with empty containers and packaging materials as needed
• Spot tractor trailers
• Rotate floor stock
• General housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area and duties as assigned
• Follow current good warehousing practice
• Use common warehouse management software
• Receive/process shipments
• Perform proper forklift inspections and follow forklift operating guidelines and procedures, as needed

Equipment Used:

• Forklift
• Pallet Jack

Pay Frequency:

• Bi weekly or Twice monthly

Typical end time:

• 5PM

Typical start time:

• 7:30AM

This Job Is:

• Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED
• Monday- Friday, occasional Saturdays.

Job Type: Full-time
