What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Supervisor position at Stone Management?
US Headquarters of a large International Bank located in midtown is looking for an AVP for their General Ledger/Reconciliations group. The position reports to the Controller and will be responsible for the review and approval of all bank reconciliations. Responsibilities will include:
*Monthly prep of the GL reports
*Daily review of reconciliations throughout the bank
*Work with accounting and operations to insure accuracy and timing of reconciliations
*Develop and prepare KPI's re: open items, IT issues, owner changes
*Attend monthly meetings to present updates and streamling
Candidate should have 5 years experience in the Banking Industry. Thorough knowledge of G/L and Reconciliations is a must. Strong Excel and knowledge of systems is essential.
