Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to residents with memory-related conditions, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver personalized care that enhances the quality of life for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in resident health status.
- Assist with self Administered medications as prescribed and ensure proper medical documentation is maintained.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, engaging them in meaningful activities.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with family members, healthcare providers, and team members regarding resident care.
Experience
- Knowledge of physiology and senior care practices is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical documentation standards including HIPAA compliance.
- Experience in home care, nursing home settings, or hospice care is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as emar is a plus.
- Previous experience in medication administration and monitoring vital signs is beneficial.
