Job Summary
Stone Leaf is seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Temporary Seasonal Cannabis Trimmers during the harvest season. This position is responsible for trimming harvested cannabis flower to meet company quality standards while maintaining an efficient, clean, and organized work environment.
The ideal candidate is reliable, comfortable performing repetitive tasks, and able to maintain consistent quality while working independently and as part of a team. Previous cannabis trimming experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided to qualified candidates.
Please note: This is a temporary position for the harvest season. Employment is expected to end when seasonal production needs have been met.
Responsibilities
- Trim cannabis flower according to company standards and quality specifications.
- Remove excess leaf material while preserving the integrity and appearance of the flower.
- Inspect finished flower for quality, consistency, and visible defects.
- Sort, handle, and organize trimmed cannabis according to established procedures.
- Accurately record production weights and completed work as required.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation.
- Follow all company standard operating procedures, safety requirements, and Vermont cannabis regulations.
- Comply with inventory control, product handling, and security procedures.
- Meet established production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Perform additional harvest and post-harvest duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to perform repetitive, detail-oriented tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Comfortable working with hands and maintaining consistent productivity.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow workplace security policies.
- Previous cannabis trimming, agriculture, manufacturing, or production experience is a plus.
- Must meet all applicable Vermont cannabis industry employment and licensing requirements.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Vermont CCB Employee Identification Card
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, depending on workstation setup.
- Repetitive use of hands and fingers for detailed trimming work.
- Ability to maintain focus and consistent work quality throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and move materials within the requirements of the position.

Employment Terms
