Sales and Business Development Associate
FLSA Classification: Administrative
Overtime Status: Exempt
The expectation of the Sales and Business Development Associate is to function as a leader within the organization, enforce the practice of standard operating procedures, acquire new business and potential projects, and provide exceptional customer service. In addition to succeeding in these goals and expectations, the Sales and Business Development Associate will be responsible for both maintaining contact with existing customers by visiting project locations and customer office locations while also embodying the Vision and Values of Stone Industries.
Expectations/ Responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to the following:
- Assist with all sales/customer service including, but not limited to in person, phone, and job site visits.
- Work with the company resolving and mediating any escalated customer issues or concerns.
- Maintain existing customer relations.
- Procure new business jobs and accounts.
- Arrange jobs across all support systems.
- Work with the AR department to help clarify all customer billing issues.
- Sales related administration.
- Responsibility for service and growth of all assigned accounts.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Aptitudes:
- Possess strong management/leadership skills.
- Must be Company & Safety oriented.
- Possess strong communications skills.
- Must be a team player; ability to work cross-functionally with all levels of staff.
- Strong computer skills are required.
Required Education & Experience:
- Experience in the construction and manufacturing industries.
- Must posses a valid Driver’s License
Travel:
- Travel to all locations and job sites will be required.
The company will provide cell phones and a company laptop.

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
