The Role
As our Maintenance Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert for keeping our bakery equipment and facilities in top shape. From troubleshooting machinery to ensuring safety protocols are followed, your work directly supports our ability to deliver fresh, delicious products every day. This role will work the swing shift from Monday – Friday, may be called to work Saturdays at times. Work hours are from 5pm to 4am.
What You’ll Do
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on bakery equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
- Maintain the physical facility, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Manage tools and assist with inventory of spare parts.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment concerns.
- Communicate with vendors and service technicians as needed.
- Stay current on maintenance best practices and food safety standards.
What You Bring
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Familiarity with automated systems and industrial bakery equipment.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs. independently; team lifts for heavier components.
- Clear communication skill; bilingual in Spanish and English a plus.
- Willingness to work afternoon/evening shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
