Overview
We are hiring a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Technician at the upper end of Level II or entry into Level III. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can work independently across all four trades — plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, and is ready to step into mentoring, team lead, and eventually full Level III responsibilities including OSHA 30.
This posting is designed for a candidate operating at high Level II who is actively growing into Level III, OR a technician already performing at low Level III who wants a defined career path and team leadership role.
Duties
- Perform and lead independent plumbing work: water heaters, leak repairs, sewer lines, PVC, winterization
- Handle electrical independently: breakers, circuits, troubleshooting; lead panel, motor, and pump work on team
- Service, diagnose, and assist with replacement of gas furnaces, oil furnaces, heat pumps, and boilers (EPA 608)
- Execute full carpentry scope: trim, doors, flooring, drywall, paint, cabinets
- Train and mentor Level I technicians; take on team lead duties as you grow into Level III
- Operate compact site equipment / heavy machinery (Level III milestone)
- Ensure confined space, respiratory, and all applicable safety protocols are followed
- Support excavation work as competent person (Level III advancement)
- Capital planning & asset management (Level III)
- Team leadership & training (Level III)
- Compliance & safety leadership (Level III)
- Operations leadership
Requirements
- 5 years maintenance experiencve
- EPA Section 608 refrigerant certification
- OSHA - 10 Construction
- Intro to Building Codes - Construction
- Confined space certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Full independent proficiency across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
- Experience leading or mentoring other technicians
Level III
- OSHA 30 - Construction (completed or actively in progress)
- Competent person - excavation certification
- Dale Carnegie or equivalent leadership / communication training
- Knowledge of codes relevant to maintenance or construction work
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
