Inside Sales, Parts Opportunity Summary
Inside Sales, Parts is responsible for working with customers, in person, by phone or email, to sell products and services offered by the company fulfilling current and future needs to meet or exceed customer expectations. Compensation is negotiable based on qualifications.
Job Duties
- Communicate with customers to determine concerns, problems, or needs while maintaining a high degree of professionalism.
- Matches customer needs with Stone Equipment products and service proposing solutions, maximizing customer satisfaction and creating sales opportunities.
- Identifies sales opportunities beyond customers’ current needs, providing information to make informed decisions about their purchase.
- Effectively collaborate with outside sales representatives and sales leadership to support customer needs and company profitability.
- Uses extensive product knowledge, various computer software programs, and supplier catalogs to identify exact parts needed, price and availability with a high degree of accuracy.
- Accurately quote current pricing, availability and credit terms while emphasizing product features and benefits.
- Enters products sold into POS system, maintaining accuracy of inventory levels and finalizing customer invoices.
- Effectively communicate estimated delivery dates to the customer, providing updates as needed.
- Recover freight costs by following current freight policy.
- Processes customer payments following company credit policies.
- Assist in shipping and receiving
- Assist in Inventory cycle counts and overall warehouse organization
Work Experience & Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years of related sales experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Aggregate knowledge is a plus
- Warehouse experience is a plus

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
- Repetitive wrist movements on keyboard.
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently.
- Effective verbal communication skills, both in-person and via electronic devices.
- Ability to use a ladder, pallet jack, and/or forklift.
- Close vision for computer-related activities.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
