Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender who can cook to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, possess strong multitasking skills, and be experienced in various aspects of food and beverage service. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and maintaining a clean and safe environment in a fast-paced setting such as fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet venues. Prior experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable, along with a solid understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to standard recipes and customer preferences
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring excellent customer service
- Handle cash transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces, adhering to food safety standards
- Manage multiple orders simultaneously while ensuring timely service during busy hours
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist in inventory management
- Comply with all alcohol service regulations and responsible beverage service policies
- Support catering events, banquets, or nightclub operations as required
- Assist in setting up for events and breaking down after service
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally in various settings including fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet environments
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and measuring ingredients accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Experience in food handling, serving, or retail math is advantageous
- Previous restaurant experience or hospitality background is highly valued
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with brewing processes or the food industry is a plus
