What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marina Attedant position at Stone Cove Marina?
We are looking for an individual who is willing to work outside in all types of conditions. The position that we are seeking to be filled has a variety of different jobs depending on the season. Spring work would consist of but not be limited to Boat prep for the summer which would consist of bottom work, shrink wrap uncovering, boat cleaning and detailing, and launching. Summer work is maintenance season. Jobs would consist of keeping the heads and showers clean, dock and yard maintenance, gas ups and pump-outs, and customer service. Fall work would consist of hauling and blocking up boats, power washing bottoms, and shrink wrapping. Fall is a time of year where flexibility in the schedule matters. Some earlier mornings and weekends are necessary to take advantage of weather windows. As we transition into winter, we go into maintaining equipment, dock construction, and other projects that need to be taken care of for the upcoming season.
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Skillful with tools
- Experience with heavy machinery
- Good physical stamina to work outside in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills and customer service oriented attitude
- Some experience in marina operations such as boat handling and yard maintenance.
- Working flexible hours when requested
Salary : $36,000 - $40,000
