Job Summary
The IT Manager supports the Stone County Developmental Disability Board by managing technology infrastructure and analyzing organizational data. This role ensures the functionality and security of computer systems, supports staff with technical needs, and provides insights through data reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and capable of translating data into actionable information.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware
- Maintain equipment inventory and oversee technology upgrades
- Assist with staff onboarding by issuing laptops and related equipment
- Support data tracking for funding and program evaluation
- Generate reports and dashboards for internal use and board review
- Ensure data integrity and security across systems
- Provide technical support and training to staff as needed
- Collaborate with management to implement tech-based solutions
- Maintain appropriate level of systems security to ensure HIIPA compliance, encryption, and cybersecurity
- Provide guidance to Executive Director on budgeting, cybersecurity, and related topics
- Other duties as assigned

- Network fundamentals (LAN/WAN, routers, firewalls, VPN)
- Hardware setup and lifecycle management
Data & Analytics Skills
- Power BI & Data Visualization
- Power BI Desktop (data modeling, DAX, Power Query)
- Power BI Service (publishing, workspaces, scheduled refreshes)
- Building dashboards, KPIs, and automated reports
Security & Compliance Skills
- Microsoft 365 security center familiarity
- Data governance and retention policies
- Basic cybersecurity awareness (phishing, endpoint protection, patching)
- Understanding of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, etc.)

Education and/or Experience
- Associate’s degree in IT, Data Analytics, or related field and 5 years of experience, or bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in IT or data analysis
- Proficiency in IT systems and administration as described above
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance required
- Must pass background screening

Hours
- Traditional business hours with flexibility for system updates and project deadlines
- Position can be remote up to 50% of the time
