Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager — Stone Corral Brewery | Richmond, VT

This is a real number-two role. You'll work directly with management, own the line, lead the team, and have a direct hand in shaping the quality and consistency of everything that comes out of our kitchen. What You'll Be Responsible For
Leading and supporting a small kitchen team through service with calm authority and clear communication
Executing recipes consistently and holding the team to the same standard
Managing prep, par levels, and station readiness so service runs clean
Maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and organization to a high standard
Stepping in as the lead in the kitchen when the chef is off the floor
Contributing to the continuous improvement of systems, recipes, and team culture
What We're Looking For
3 years of professional kitchen experience, including at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role
Someone who moves with urgency and leads by example — not by title
Reliable, respectful, and genuinely accountable
Strong communication skills and the ability to stay composed during a push
A cook who takes pride in consistency — the same dish, done right, every time
