Hybrid Work Flexibility
This position offers hybrid work flexibility within Maine (minimum 2 in-office days per week).
Position Overview
Own the front end of the sales pipeline. As a Business Development Representative, you’ll identify, engage, and qualify new business opportunities, directly impacting growth through consistent outreach and strong execution in a metrics-driven environment.
- Generate new opportunities through outbound and inbound prospecting activity
- Engage prospective clients, including senior executives
- Qualify leads and book meetings that convert to pipeline
- Track performance against clear activity and pipeline goals
- Build knowledge of Stone Coast’s services and industry trends
Job Responsibilities
- Prospect and engage potential clients through calls, email, and digital outreach
- Research target accounts and decision-makers
- Initiate outreach via phone, email, and social platforms
- Qualify leads and schedule introductory meetings
- Maintain CRM records and track activity and pipeline progress
- Partner with Sales Leadership on targeting and messaging
- Stay informed on industry trends and market activity
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- 1-2 Years of experience in business development, lead generation, or sales preferred, but notrequired
- Understanding of prospecting and pipeline development
- Strong communicationand organizational skills
- Experience with CRM and sales tools preferred
- Comfortable working toward performance metrics and goals
Education Requirements
A four-year degree required and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
