Hybrid Work Flexibility 

This position offers hybrid work flexibility within Maine (minimum 2 in-office days per week).

Position Overview

Own the front end of the sales pipeline. As a Business Development Representative, you’ll identify, engage, and qualify new business opportunities, directly impacting growth through consistent outreach and strong execution in a metrics-driven environment.

  • Generate new opportunities through outbound and inbound prospecting activity
  • Engage prospective clients, including senior executives
  • Qualify leads and book meetings that convert to pipeline 
  • Track performance against clear activity and pipeline goals 
  • Build knowledge of Stone Coast’s services and industry trends

Job Responsibilities

  • Prospect and engage potential clients through calls, email, and digital outreach 
  • Research target accounts and decision-makers 
  • Initiate outreach via phone, email, and social platforms 
  • Qualify leads and schedule introductory meetings 
  • Maintain CRM records and track activity and pipeline progress 
  • Partner with Sales Leadership on targeting and messaging 
  • Stay informed on industry trends and market activity

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • 1-2 Years of experience in business development, lead generation, or sales preferred, but notrequired
  • Understanding of prospecting and pipeline development 
  • Strong communicationand organizational skills 
  • Experience with CRM and sales tools preferred 
  • Comfortable working toward performance metrics and goals

Education Requirements

A four-year degree required and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
