What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Executive position at Stone Building Solutions?
🚨 ELITE B2B SALES. Closers only. Fort Myers → Tampa playground.
⸻
🪨 STONE?
We've recovered $1B for buildings.
🏗️ Engineering. 🔨 Construction Oversight. 💰 Insurance Recovery.
Yes, all under one roof. 30-person machine. 6× FLCAJ Diamond Winners. Offices in FL and NJ.
We're not a startup looking for hugs. We're a lean squadron.
We're currently the Engineer of Record, PM, and Owner's Rep on a 57-floor Miami oceanfront tower.
One firm. Three jobs. Not perfect — building permanent.
⸻
📐 THE TRIFECTA | UNLIKE ANY ROLE YOU'VE SEEN
Most firms sell you one of three roles. We sell all three, unified:
🧱 Owner's Rep — we keep the GC honest.
🔧 Engineer of Record — we keep the numbers real.
🦺 Project Manager — we keep the job moving.
One call does what 3 firms can't. Same firm. Same day. One throat to choke.
If competitors even imagined pitching this, they'd have to subcontract two-thirds and pray nobody compares notes.
We also just cracked two verticals that 90% of competitors don't know exist.
If you're sharp, you'll figure out which two by the 2nd interview.
⸻
🔥 WHAT WE SELL
Construction oversight. A.K.A. Life insurance for 7 and 8-figure projects.
When GCs cut corners, buildings fail (and fall) and lawsuits fly. We prevent all that.
We deploy senior PEs and PhDs to monitor everything:
☑️ Roofs, balconies, stairs, fenestrations.
☑️ Concrete, waterproofing, post-tension cables.
☑️ Every "trust me, I got it" that becomes a nightmare.
Owners don't just want this, they need it like water in the Florida desert. Legal heat is an all-time high. The smart ones know. This is high-stakes, high-trust, high-dollar loss prevention.
Three of our other services are legally mandated, so the floor never drops out:
🏢 Engineering reports (Structural Inspections, Phase 1 & 2).
📆 Funding plans (Reserve Studies).
🛡️ Insurance valuations.
⸻
🧨 WHAT WE WANT
A hunter. And an actual closer. Anybody can "build relationships."
You thrive on velocity. You lead DMs to decisions with authority. No fake modesty.
You exterminate the "maybes." If you've got grit, we'll coach you hard.
We don't hire closers to babysit. We hire them to own a market.
⸻
🗓 HOW YOU WORK
Mon & Fri: Work-from-home grind. 100 calls, follow-ups, and CRM stamina. Decision-driving.
🚗 Tue–Thu: Field days. Pure exposure, NET NEW life. 15 building visits in the trenches.
🎯 Target: Owners, boards, property managers, GCs, and commercial Developers.
🔓 10–12 deals/month = serious income.
⸻
💸 WHAT YOU EARN
Year 1 (after you've built a pipeline, not a pipedream):
- $115K–$140K = Solid.
- $140K–$175K = Strong.
- $175K = Beast.
Year 2, the right closer breaks $250K . We have people doing it in real life.
✅ Uncapped commission. ✅ Monthly payouts. ✅ No clawback nonsense.
For the rare alpha who's closed (verifiable) deals most people can't: the comp convo opens up fast.
⸻
📈 FULL BENEFITS
Health, dental, vision, life, 401k with match, company card, PTO… the bells & whistles.
⸻
🧬 WHAT YOU NEED
- 5 years B2B. Construction, insurance, engineering sales = you're on the fast-pass.
- Top one-percent work ethic. Seriously. Heard of the 4-Burners theory? Cut two.
- Executive presence. Boardrooms, cold calls, lunches with foremen, all the same to you.
- CRM hygiene that doesn't make managers cry.
- Driver's license vehicle.
⸻
💣 THE REAL DEAL
Our CEO and CGO work with only one Team daily. Yes, the Sales Team. Have been for years.
Obsessively building a lean, founder-economy unicorn.
We've seen big firms try to replicate us and dilute themselves trying. We notice. We don't flinch.
But the plan isn't to stay 30 people forever. It's to shake up this crusty & crooked building industry.
Good luck to the elephant corps still dishing out stigma. Us small folks just EAT, and we do it fast.
If you're wired for a real legacy, not a manager checking your activity reports — this is your career play. If not, no hard feelings. We'll both be happier.
