What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Crew Member position at Stone Blossom?
The team at Stone Blossom strives to design, build, and maintain landscapes and gardens that are functional and beautiful in the Bedford/Manchester area. Whether it’s a total landscape makeover, a front yard refresh or seasonal containers, quality is always our focus. Our design, construction, planting, and fine gardening divisions work hard to ensure our clients’ needs are met.We love the outdoors and are looking for others who feel the same way. The following positions are open to individuals with and without experience. Those with a desire to learn, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply. We seek quality people who enjoy doing quality work. Crew Members ($21 - $26 per hour)Work with a horticulturist to perform tasks associated with landscape planting, including site and soil preparation, plant placement, planting, pruning, laying sod, seeding, watering, etc.Work with a team to create natural stone walls, walkways, patios, firepits, and other outdoor entertainment spaces.Operate many types of landscape equipment from skid steers and excavators to sod cutters and backpack blowers QUALIFICATIONSSome experience preferred, but will train the right personInterest in planting and working with natural stoneBe able to lift 50 poundsWork in a fast paced and physically demanding environmentWork cooperatively with a teamWork in all types of weatherPossess a valid driver’s license with clean driving recordHave reliable transportationBe able to pass a DOT medical examPass background checksReliable and punctualHigh attention to detail These are full and part-time seasonal positions, although winter work may be available for the right candidate.
