Make a positive impact by supporting the day-to-day operations of our Employment Fundamentals day program. Be a leader and work directly with the Employment Fundamentals Coordinator to empower individuals with developmental disabilities to be more self-directed and empowered!

Positive Atmosphere Advocate:
- Bring a positive attitude to daily interactions with clients, staff, and the community.
- Uphold and support the policies, procedures, and philosophy of Stone Belt.
- Have fun and experience life with some amazing individuals!
- Attend regular trips to the library, community businesses, local schools, and other outings to encourage social inclusion for people with disabilities.
- Find unique ways to teach fundamental employment skills in fun settings.
- Foster an environment that empowers clients through learning.
Safety and Well-being Champion:
- Protect and uphold the rights of our clients in all situations.
- Establish rapport with clients, ensuring person-centered services aligned with individual desires/needs.
- Monitor and implement behavior support plans following confidentiality guidelines.
Self-determination Advocate:
- Boost clients' self-esteem and assertiveness.
- Encourage self-directedness, self-advocacy, and peer support.
- Facilitate and support clients in developing friendships and relationships.
Documentation and Compliance Guru:
- Complete documentation with precision, including daily logs, incident reports, and schedules.
- Maintain certification in CPR/First Aid and attend required training sessions.
Working Conditions:
- Willingness to work beyond scheduled hours as needed. (Regular schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm)
- Attend all staff meetings and training sessions.
- Transport clients in agency vehicle
Qualifications:
- Prior management experience is preferred but not required
- Hold a valid United States driver's license.
- Must be able to occasionally lift, and provide behavioral supports as indicated.
- Pass Stone Belt core training classes and skills tests.
- Exceptional communication, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Display a caring attitude towards persons with developmental disabilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $15.50 per hour
