Part-Time Handyman – Flexible Schedule

We are a rapidly expanding real estate development and property management company based in Brattleboro seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our maintenance team. The current role is part-time with a flexible schedule and the potential to become full-time if desired.

Responsibilities

· Perform routine and preventive maintenance on residential and commercial properties

· Handle plumbing repairs (leaks, faucets, toilets, drains, etc.)

· Basic electrical work (outlets, switches, light fixtures, GFCI, etc.)

· Interior/exterior painting and drywall repairs

· Carpentry, door/hardware installation, minor roofing repairs

· Turnover work between tenants (make-readies)

· Occasional emergency/on-call response (extra pay)

Requirements

· 5 years of proven handyman/maintenance experience

· Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repairs

· Excellent communication skills – you’ll interact directly with tenants, property managers, and owners

· Reliable transportation and basic tools (we provide larger equipment and materials)

· Ability to pass a background check

· References required

Schedule & Pay

· Part-time, very flexible hours (15–30 hours/week depending on your availability)

· Work around your existing schedule – perfect if you already have another job or are semi-retired

· Competitive hourly rate $25–$35/hr DOE, paid weekly

· Mileage reimbursement for travel between properties

This is a long-term position with a growing company – plenty of opportunity to grow into full-time if desired.
