Neuropsychologist

Our client is looking for a Neuropsychologist to join their clinical team.

Position Details:

As the Neuropsychologist, you will provide neuropsychological and psychological evaluation services to children, adolescents, and young adults. Your evaluations will include gathering and interpreting data from multiple sources (e.g., parents, teachers, children) and using multiple methods (e.g., psychological testing, rating scales, clinical interview, behavioral observation) to answer referral questions. Furthermore, you will communicate results to parents and educators in person and through a comprehensive written report and you will provide additional services including remediation, organizational skills training and educational consultation.

This is a full-time, exempt, hybrid position requiring a minimum 4 days in our Midtown, NY office.

You Will:

• Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for children, adolescents and young adults, including the use of personality measures and projectives, autism evaluations (including the use of the ADOS-2 and ADI-R), early childhood developmental evaluations, and evaluations with ID/DD populations.
• Provide cognitive remediation, organizational skills training and school consultation for children with learning disorders, ADHD, or other behavior problems.
• Advocate for children with accommodation requirements in educational and legal settings.
• Collaborate with our clinical colleagues, including receiving and providing consultation, to support team-based care within our practice.
• Provide training or clinical supervision to trainees, including psychologists, social workers and licensed mental health counselors.
• Conduct workshops, presentations, and webinars on children's mental health topics for community outreach.
• Ensure all clinical documentation requirements are met.

You Have:

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology with a focus in neuropsychology from an accredited program.
• Current, valid, unrestricted license to practice psychology in New York State.
• Completion of a post doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology.

Pay Range

The anticipated salary range for this position is $136,000.00 To $170,000.00 annually. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
