Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, counters, and service stations through bussing and sanitation practices
• Follow food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
• Manage multiple tables efficiently with excellent time management skills to ensure timely service
• Support team members in delivering a seamless dining experience from start to finish

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially quick service or fast food settings
• Strong customer service skills with a positive, energetic attitude
• Ability to operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS confidently
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with guests and team members effectively
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math for upselling opportunities
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Familiarity with food industry terminology, including serving, bussing, and food handling procedures
• Experience with cashiering, cash handling, and sanitation practices in a café or retail setting is a plus
