Market Clerk

Stoltzfus Meats is seeking a friendly and dependable Market Clerk to help create a welcoming and organized shopping experience for our customers. The Market Clerk will assist with product inquiries, operate the register accurately, fulfill curbside pickup orders, and help maintain attractive and well-stocked displays throughout the market. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in creating a clean, inviting, and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, processing sales transactions and handling cash with care
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product questions across all departments
• Fulfill and process curbside pickup orders, including payment collection and delivering purchases directly to customers' vehicles
• Monitor inventory levels and restock displays as needed to maintain a full and appealing product presentation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the market, ensuring all food safety and sanitation standards are followed
• Assist with special orders, packaging requests, and general market support as directed by management
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail, grocery, or food service preferred
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize and restock product displays
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability, including mornings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Comfortable handling cash and using a point-of-sale system
