What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Accountants position at Stoltz Management of Delaware?
Support property management accounting team with accounts payable, treasury/banking duties; analyze transactions, apply knowledge of accounting principles and input transactions into accounting software to create accurate financial reports; compare activity in property related bank accounts daily to postings in software to make sure all bank activity is recorded by end of business day after transaction date or no later than second business day; create and send invoices and statements to owners, tenants and vendors; create journal entries for transactions by applying accounting principles to serve as reliable data in financial reports; prepare bank reconciliations; onboard accounting software as needed; work with CFO, Assistant Controller, and Property Accounting Controller to research and facilitate specific transactions, communicate with vendors and banks, handle monthly fund/reit/property capital calls, distributions and capital transactions. Work from home available 3 days every 2 weeks (must be in office 4 days and 3 days every 2 weeks).
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related. 3 months experience as Bookeeper.
