Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalized hospitality by engaging guests, understanding preferences, and providing thoughtful recommendations that drive sales.
- Champion a culture of excellence by setting the pace; mentor the team through hands-on demonstrations of elite service, sales techniques, and operational efficiency.
- Confidently promote and enroll guests in the wine club by communicating benefits, addressing inquiries, and processing memberships with 100% accuracy.
- Cultivate lasting relationships by delivering an immersive experience rooted in expert storytelling and genuine guest connection.
- Maintain a positive, solution-oriented approach while working with team members and leadership.
- Communicate daily with the manager regarding shift performance, guest feedback, team observations, and operational needs.
- Support daily operations including POS transactions, cash handling, and guest data entry (Commerce7) with high efficiency.
- Monitor reservations and floor flow to maximize capacity and revenue without compromising the quality of the guest experience.
- Execute opening/closing procedures and side work, ensuring the organization and cleanliness of all service areas.
- Maintain flexibility to work across various environments, including the bar, outdoor spaces, and special events. Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Uphold company policies, safety standards, and responsible alcohol service practices with punctual, reliable attendance.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but serves as a role model for the Associate team and assists other Leads and Tasting Room Managers in daily activity.

Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of three to five years of prior employment in a high-volume restaurant or Wine Bar environment is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations
Licenses:Valid, current OLCC license. Valid, current Oregon Food Handler’s card.
Travel Requirement
This position requires occasional, same day, regional travel.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Has advanced basic computer job skills including logging on to systems, ability to communicate by email, ability to compose documents, enter database information, create presentations, download forms, and preserve/backup important data.
