Roles/Responsibilities:
- Operate various sawing and core drilling equipment to create openings or holes in concrete
- Operate the following equipment: trucks, skid steers, forklifts, manlifts, trailers, electric generators, hydraulic units, air compressors, wall saws, flat saws, core drills, hand saws, ring saw, chain saw and numerous other power hand tools
- Tip, break, and remove concrete from job sites
- Control and clean up slurry during cutting operations, clean job site before departure
- Perform light mechanical repairs and maintenance on equipment and vehicles
- Properly fill out and submit a daily work report
- Follow safety rules and be safety minded in all tasks
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be able to push, pull and lift 75 pounds
- Mechanical aptitude and construction related experience helpful
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must be able to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Must be committed to operating and maintaining company trucks, equipment and tools with care and respect
- Must be able to work independently of supervisor and work as a part of a team - both things are necessary
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, which may include periodic night work
- Must be willing/able to travel away from home overnight (periodically)
- Must be willing to work in all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow etc.)
- Must maintain a neat professional appearance
