Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. Duties
- Prepare and serve deli items including sandwiches, salads, and other food products according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for cash handling and customer transactions efficiently.
- Assist customers by providing product information, answering questions, and offering recommendations.
- Ensure all products are properly labeled and displayed in an appealing manner.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
- Provide a resume with complete work history for the last 3 years.
- Position is for various shifts.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, grocery store, or similar food handling environment is preferred.
- Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in food preparation areas.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and move items as required for stocking and cleaning duties.
