Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with medical terminology and systems.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the front desk calendar efficiently.
- Handle patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate collection of medical records.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with medical coding and ensure proper documentation in electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks and Eaglesoft.
- Process insurance verification and manage billing inquiries as needed.
- Perform clerical duties including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized medical records.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or Front Desk Receptionist is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding practices is a plus.
- Experience in Medent preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical administration or related field is an advantage.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
