Stockton Unified School District (SUSD) began providing services to students in 1852 and is located in the heart of California’s Central Valley near the banks of the San Joaquin River. SUSD is the 17th largest school district in California, whereby 38,000 PK-12th grade students come to us to experience an academic journey that leads to high school graduation and success in college, careers, and as actively-engaged community members. Cover letter Resume 3 letters of recommendation Copies of credentials Copies of transcripts (unofficial are okay) Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential and one (1) of the following: a minimum of twenty-four (24) Early Childhood Education units or Child Development units, or both; professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool age children that is comparable to the twenty-four (24) units of education as described in above as determined by the District; or a child development teacher permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC). English Learner authorization required. In addition to candidates with full Multiple Subject credential, consideration will be given to applicants with "intern eligible" letters in Multiple Subject from district (IMPACT, Fortune School of Education) or university intern programs.
If hired, incumbent must provide official transcripts, presented in a sealed envelope, verifying degree(s) and units earned beyond a Bachelor's Degree.
