Stockton Unified School District (SUSD) began providing services to students in 1852 and is located in the heart of California’s Central Valley near the banks of the San Joaquin River. SUSD is the 17th largest school district in California, whereby 38,000 PK-12th grade students come to us to experience an academic journey that leads to high school graduation and success in college, careers, and as actively-engaged community members. SUSD is proud to offer a comprehensive benefit package: -FREE health benefits through Kaiser for Employee and Family Applicant must provide the following: Cover Letter Resume 3 recent letters of recommendation Copies of credentials or Intern Eligible Letter Copies of CSET (if no credential) Copies of transcripts (unofficial acceptable for initial application, official required upon employment offer) *English Learner authorization required In addition to candidates with Single Subject Social Science credential, consideration will be given to applicants with "intern eligible" letters in Single Subject Social Science from district (IMPACT, Fortune School of Education) or university intern programs. 23 years transferable service accepted towards placement on the salary schedule.
