Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator based in Hoover, AL, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the time. The Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator will be responsible for assisting clients in obtaining mortgage loans by assessing their financial needs and qualifying them for suitable loan products. Primary tasks include evaluating loan applications, guiding clients through the loan process, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and maintaining a strong relationship with both clients and business partners. The role also involves collaborating with underwriters and building a connection with the local community to grow the business portfolio.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Mortgage Lending, Loan Origination, and Loans
- 2 year minimum experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator
- Knowledge and experience in Underwriting processes within the mortgage sector
- Strong understanding of Finance principles and practices
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Active and valid Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license
- Proficiency with loan processing software and relevant technology tools
