Stocks General Contractors is seeking an experienced and driven Foreman to lead field crews across our civil construction projects.
This role is critical to ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can manage crews, coordinate daily operations, and maintain accountability on active job sites.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and supervise field crews on underground utility and civil construction projects
- Plan and coordinate daily work activities to meet project schedules and deadlines
- Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Ensure proper installation of utilities including water, sewer, storm drain, electrical, and communications systems
- Monitor job site safety and enforce OSHA and company safety standards
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors
- Track production, materials, and equipment usage
- Identify and resolve issues to keep projects on schedule
- Train and mentor crew members to improve performance and skill development
- 5 years of experience in civil construction or underground utilities
- Proven leadership experience managing crews and job site operations
- Strong understanding of plans, grades, and construction methods
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and accountability
- Experience on commercial, industrial, or government projects
- Knowledge of scheduling and production tracking
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification
- Confined Space Training
- Trenching & Excavation Awareness
- Rigging and Signaling Certification
- First Aid/CPR Certification
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed to support the crew
- Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required
- Full-Time | Hourly or Salary (based on experience)
- Monday–Friday (8–10 hour shifts; occasional weekends or night work required)
