JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Stockmohr Bath Remodeling Department is looking to hire a motivated, able-bodied individual who is a capable and experienced solid-surface shower panel installer. The Individual must be able to follow provided Scopes of Work & Design Layouts and follow the instructions of the Project Manager. The Installer is to carry out job duties as scheduled for the day by Project Manager in a timely manner, while following all safety protocols.
The Installer must be capable of performing a variety of tasks associated with a Tub-to-Shower Conversion remodel including but not limited to:
· Completing a controlled demolition of the work area—Cut/Cap of existing plumbing, moving debris & new install materials in and out of the work site cautiously as to not damage them or the peripheral work area.
· The Accurate Templating, Cutting, Safe Handling, Installation and Sealing of the approved substrate and Solid Surface Shower Wall Panels & Niches.
· The Accurate Placement and Installation of Shower Doors, Grab Bars & Folding Shower Seats.
DAILY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Arrive at work at the agreed time and/or location and productively manage your workday.
- Report any issues to Project Manager or General Manager.
- Follow & maintain all safety standards and cleaning of jobsite at the end of EACH day.
- Properly operate a variety of hand & power tools and maintain them.
- While on the Job Site maintain a friendly and positive demeanor with the Stockmohr Client.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
- Ability to be flexible as job assignments change and to problem solve issues that arise.
- Maintain their appearance and dress appropriate to their job and to Stockmohr Expectations.
- Strictly follow Drug & Alcohol policies during work hours.
- Possess and Able to Use a Smart Phone for Logging Hours, Communicating with Supervisors and uploading photos of work site progress DAILY Required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma &/or GED Required.
- Preferred One-Year (or 20 System Installs) Minimum Job Experience in Tub-to-Shower Installs.
- Valid driver’s license Required.
- Reliable Means of Transportation (Able to get to Job Sites &/or Stockmohr Offices Daily) Required.
- Ability to Write/Read & Speak English Clearly.
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
