Position General Responsibilities:
This position is accountable for all facets of effectively processing applications from the beginning to delivery of loans to be sold to secondary markets. Duties emphasize specific areas of focus from origination to close as directed by management in an effort to work as a team player with the entire staff to achieve the efficient processing and closing of real estate loan transactions and relieving Real Estate Loan Officers of administrative detail.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalency
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently and to prioritize multiple tasks
- Previous personal computer experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous real estate loan processing or professional office experience.
- Strong computer knowledge and program skills including Microsoft Office Suite and other Bank related software
Position Specific Responsibilities, Duties and Competencies may include one or more of the following:
Loan Processing:
- Accurate completion of loan application data input.
- Review file documentation and validate and update information from credit documents into Loan Origination System.
- Run regulatory compliance checks and prepare file for underwriter review.
- Assist Loan Officer with obtaining information and/or documentation needed to complete and process application.
- Act as a liaison between sales and operations to meet closing deadlines.
Disclosure/Closing Documents:
- Accurate preparation and generation of initial disclosures to consumer(s) in accordance with federal regulations and timeframes currently in effect.
- Timely issuance of any revised disclosures as required by regulations due to change in circumstances
- Contacts Title Companies, Attorneys, Loan Officers, Processors and Insurance Companies to obtain documentation and information necessary for timely closing.
- Monitors pipeline status to ensure timeframes are achievable and advises all parties of any changes that may occur.
- Accurate preparation of loan closing documents and delivery to settlement agent, as well as for internal mainframe setup, including escrow reserve.
- Accurate preparation of HMDA Report Data
