What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial/ Residential Appliance Technician position at Stocker Appliance Repair?
We are seeking a Commercial/ Residential Appliance Technician to become a part of our team! You will assist with the installation and repair of various machinery and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Installation and repair of machinery and electronic equipment for commercial and/or residential appliances
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment and company van
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on customer equipment when requested
- Track all equipment and supplies in work van
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial/residential appliance repair and installation, minimum 5 years
- Own all hand tools necessary to complete assigned work
- Ability to handle physical workloads up to 75lbs
- Ability to work well in teams
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to read a wiring diagram and use a multimeter to troubleshoot
- Sealed system repair expertise is a bonus
