Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Appliance Tech located in Boston, MA. The Appliance Tech will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various household appliances including refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, washing machines, and dryers. Daily tasks will include troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and electronic issues, providing exceptional customer service and utilizing our software to keep detail notes on ongoing and completed work orders. The technician will replace faulty parts, maintain accurate records of repairs, and ensure compliance with safety standards and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Technical skills in diagnosing and repairing a variety of household appliances
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Customer service and communication skills
- Ability to maintain accurate repair records
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently in an on-site setting
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Experience in appliance repair or similar technical field is preferred
- Clean background check
- Commercial appliance experience a bonus
