General Job Summary
The Market President is responsible for the strategic direction, growth, and profitability of the assigned market. This role leads business development efforts, fosters client relationships, and represents the Bank in the community to ensure market visibility. The Market President collaborates with internal partners to deliver tailored financial solutions while maintaining regulatory compliance and upholding the Bank’s mission and values.
Organizational Duties And Responsibilities
Responsible for building a high-performing team from day one by recruiting experienced Relationship Managers across multiple disciplines (C&I, CRE, BB, PB, WMT, TM, Mortgage, etc). In addition, the Market President will work with managers to hire necessary support staff, including Loan Coordinators and Client Service professionals, to ensure operational excellence and client satisfaction.
Branch Expectations
Market President will work with appropriate departments within SYB to identify opportunities to open branch offices to support retail operations and growing staff.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
Experience: Minimum 10 years of banking experience with at least 5 years in a leadership or executive role
