What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Associate position at Stock & Trade Design Co.?

- Prefer 2 years previous experience in a shipping/receiving, warehouse or logistics role, but not required.
- A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.
- Unload trucks.
- Operate hand-trucks, dollies, pallet jacks and other moving equipment to receive and move large quantities of merchandise.
- Ability to read/match merchandise SKU’s on shipping slips to items picked.
- Responsible for managing the product lifecycle through technology programs
- Sort and organize shipments in warehouse to ensure maintenance of a safe and clean workspace.
- Focus on task at hand, attention to detail and working quickly when receiving in merchandise.
- Engage vendors, drivers and customers with a positive attitude. Supporting on both the sales floor and warehouse areas.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with team and supervisors.
- Assist sales team members with restocking sales floor with large furniture items, such as dining tables, cabinets, sofas, etc.
- Assist clients with loading purchased merchandise into vehicles.
- Education: High School Education or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to lift minimum 20 lbs over head to a height of 92 inches.
- Position spends a large amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing - rest periods provided.
