The Senior Accountant reports to the Controller of the Pavarini McGovern, LLC group at STOBG. This position will work closely with members of the accounting team to incorporate meaningful financial analysis for Pavarini McGovern. Overview
The Senior Accountant reports to the Controller of the Pavarini McGovern, LLC group at STOBG. This position will work closely with members of the accounting team to incorporate meaningful financial analysis for Pavarini McGovern. This position will ensure the accuracy of reporting the following information
Main Duties/Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis/Monthly Close process:
- Research, analyze, and reconcile Trial Balances and Subsidiary Ledgers.
- Consolidation of subsidiary results
- Consolidation and analysis of Monthly CFO Variance Reports
- Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the director’s attention
- Analysis of changes from period to period and KPI reporting (Revenue, GP, G&A, etc.).
- Assist with preparation of annual audits and quarterly internal financial statement preparation.
- Prepare journal entries
- Assist with preparing and adjusting various type of analytical tools (waterfall charts, tables, etc.) in excel to properly reflect data analysis.
- Assist the Controller with the month-end close procedures and Group consolidation process.
- Work with Project Accountants with day to day and month/year end closing tasks
- Monitor, reconcile and report on division cash positions
- Assist with preparing and analyzing monthly work in progress reports
- Annual Plan, Quarterly Reforecasts and Strategic Plans:
- Validate Budget/ Forecast/ Actual data uploaded from current ERP system.
- Assist with compiling and maintaining required financial information to populate reports for senior management
- Ability to develop and maintain relationship with both local, regional and international financial team members.
- Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment.
- Oracle Based CMiC Construction Management software knowledge is recommended
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance and /or Accounting and related work experience.
- 5 years of experience in financial statement preparation and analysis.
- With 3 years in public accounting preferred
- Substantial progress towards CPA.

Salary : $110,000 - $150,000
