STN is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Pleasanton, California. The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a crucial role in managing the company’s financial operations by ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments. Responsibilities:
- Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs.
- Analyzing workflow processes.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors.
- Review invoices for proper documentation.
- Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges.
- Reviewing and reconciling credit cards and expense reports.
- Entering invoices and general ledger data.
- Assisting senior financial officers.
- Previous experience with NetSuite ERP system is strongly preferred.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 3 years working in Accounts Payable preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Experience using office machinery (printer, copier, phone systems, etc.).
- Ability to work and think independently, be ambitious and maintain a high energy level.
- Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Detailed oriented.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees, customers, vendors and partners.
- Flexibility to help them adjust to new tasks should the company or office need change.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce reports, assign tasks, accept instructions and handle vendor contracts, among other tasks.
This is a contract position that has the potential to move full-time.
