Job Summary (List Format)
- Serve as a key member of the Cloud Solutions Architecture team, focused on building and deploying AWS cloud infrastructure (EKS, ECR, IAM/IDC).
- Design and implement scalable, repeatable, and automated solutions using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Create and standardize automation patterns and cloud deployment workflows to streamline hotel setup processes across multiple teams and functions.
- Collaborate with business and application teams to deliver cloud solutions for Hilton's Property Engagement Platform (PEP).
- Standardize deployment pipelines using GitLab and contribute to a robust project pipeline.
- Identify and implement opportunities for infrastructure automation, configuration management, monitoring, and alerting.
- Support Hilton's Hybrid Cloud environment, providing escalation support, participating in on-call rotations, and ensuring alignment with company standards.
- Maintain detailed engineering documentation using Atlassian tools and manage ITSM processes in ServiceNow.
- Apply and enforce security policies, guide vulnerability and patch management, and ensure compliance within cloud environments.
- Utilize experience with AWS services (IAM, RDS, Lambda, S3, EKS, SQS, SNS, IoT), open-source tools (Terraform, Vault), and CI/CD tools (Bamboo, GitLab).
- Leverage experience in production and non-production cloud environments, including tuning, monitoring (CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk), and operations.
- Contribute to large-scale cloud projects, solving complex business problems.
- Required: 5-7 years supporting production applications, 2 years with Terraform/CFT, 2 years AWS multi-account experience, 2 years cloud monitoring and alerting, 2 years scripting (Bash, Python), and 2 years with large public cloud applications.
- Preferred: Relevant public cloud and open-source tool certifications.
